I came across this and hope somebody is looking. I have already committed to a couple OTTBs. The trainer is going to transition and retrain if necesary and has owned the horses her whole life so I am sticking with my people. However, this looks OK and I know with cash in hand the stud would be less. The spelling makes for a tough read, and most OTTBs around the tracks are free. But somebody should go get him and tell me all about it.

I am posting this for someone I know.

Approx 15hh, Red Dun Quarter horse, 20 year old mare needs a home. She was recently rescued, but cannot stay where she is. She is very thin, possibly emaciated. She has good feet, but was otherwise starved wherever she was before. Recently vetted, and vet says she has minor arthritis and will need bute on the days she has a slight limp. Good apetite though and has already showed improvements.

Shamala is a quirky former show mare. 17 years old. She was shown in Halter and WP, earning I believe 1/2 a point in each. Black Gold is a 2005 buckskin TB stallion, he is 15.3 and looks like he might have a smidge more growing to do, but I would not expect him to finish over 16
hands. He is unfortunately unregistered, but I have already jumped through the hoops to get the paperwork from the JC, and have it on hand. JC registration
for horses over 2 years is $2K, but at this cheap price you'd still have a JC registered buckskin stallion for $2500!
