Joe is visiting with me for a couple of months to get a more solid saddle horse for his owner. He is 10 years old and at best is green broke. His owner is a middle aged woman who would like to enjoy him on the trails, but he is too green for her. I've had him home for a week now and have 2 rides on him.

I have been working with my yearling colt, Kahuna, he is a black Solid Bred Paint, and I got him in April.
When I got him I long lined him and worked on halter, setting up, troting in hand, backing, standing for long periods of time, and did some quartering too so he learns not to move when I show him..

He's a 16yr old Black Shetland stallion. He was found with about 15 other shetlands who have been neglected, and 10 of which were stallions which have been trying to kill each other! She is 7yrs old about 16.1hh or more havn't taped her. Her sire is Flurry from and her dam is North Star both from Thunder Valley. From what I understand the breeder did all her ground work and then sent her to a trainer. I guess when she came back she was emaciated and was terrified of everything. The breeder then gave her to me after turning a few other people down to make sure she went to a good home.
