Dog Potrait Day (Toronto area folks)

Thought I'd post it in case anyone was in the area and wanted some nice pictures of their dog(s).

There is going to be a dog portrait day at Bark and Fitz Bloor on Sunday November 29th from 11 - 4:30 by Ash Nayler. Cost is $40. She really does some nice work, the pictures I saw from the last portrait day were too cute Boone is definitely going to have a photo shoot done this time around.

Anyone have any suggestions for good message boards/forums for people interested in gardening, community supported agriculture, and sustainable farming? My brother is interested in stuff like that and I was telling him that he should find a message board...so being the great resource that you all are, I thought I would ask you guys : )

Ok.. love this fall weather but I HATE the time change and the short days. All day long I think it's hours later than it is. Between the fast setting afternoon sun and the hour time difference I walk around perpetually confused. THEN... it's dark by like 6:30 and I must say I'm BORED TO FREAKIN' TEARS in the house. I'm never in the house this much. It's making me wacko.

Boredom is dangerous too. All I can think of to do is watch TV, play on here and EAT!...

Sunny needed a little sumthin to lift her spirits tonite...you can thank me later!

I am watching it on Youtube. It rocks my socks. I used to watch it with my grandma when I was little, and I have found it at last!

It has some very John Denver-esque music in it. Its actually not very good, but I love it.

Here's the bare bones of my situation: I'm a 32 y.o. living with my parents. We are moving to Texas so my parents can be near their grandkids, my brother's children. I've been living with them since I got divorced 5 years ago. For the past 3 years I've been having major health issues which have been keeping me from working. I also have some pretty significant mental health issues which only add to the problem. The house we are currently in has a tiny little pool...

LOL I got a junk email saying I had beautifull russian women waiting for me, lol. I am a femal, and I am married, how do they get my email?

I also get lots of Viagra emails, beacuse I just need viagra sooo badly, lol. Tons of dating email, like match.com, and such, plus the usuall I have won 10katrillan dollars, beacue some guy in Africa died, and I need to pretend to be his relative.

So what kind of amusing/pain in the butt/of different junk mail do you get?...

So, okay, I'm all moved because of retarded roommates and shit right?

So, one roommate who moved out in Septemeber owed me two months utlity bills. Two. Now, we AGREED that I'd take it out of her part of the damage deposite because you know, it was pretty obviously that she wasn't going to be paying me.

We got the damage deposite, roommate who cashed the cheque just e-mailed me.

"Oh, she took the $416 and says she'll pay you later"

Good food/water bowls for dog crates?

I have a boxer who is a total wimp about weather under 60* so this time of the year we keep him inside while we are at work (approx 6 hours). He can't be trusted to run free so we crate him. We have him in an XL kennel and he is approx 45lbs. The food bowls we have are taking up space in his kennel bc they are large and round. Anyone have ingenious ideas for feeders that fit nicely in a crate? Do the waterers people use for large rabbits etc compatible/adequate for a dog? Or should I...

I am looking at getting a new digital camera, and unfortunately, I really know nothing about them!!

Can someone please explain to me the difference between mega-pixels and optical zoom? I can assume more is better, but what is REALLY the difference between 12 megapixels and 3x optical zoom, and 12 mega pixels and 5x optical zoom?

What are some good brands?

What about waterproof cameras?
