I just found your confo thread with pictures.  This horse has the look of a saddle bronc, meaning his head and eye are shifty and suspicious, as well as distrusting.  Even if you get him settled down, you wont be able to change his personality.  Please be careful.

I noticed people in that thread were suggesting ground driving.  If you do that, hobble up a front leg so he will wear down faster and so he cant kick the crap out of you.  You work him with one front up for ten minutes, then the other.  Its a good cowboy trick. Not all horses need it, but if this one is a kicker, dont put yourself in that position.
