PDJ, I don't feel comfortable tying his leg up. Not because of worrying about him hurting himself, but because I have no clue how to do it properly and one of us might end up dead for that.

Look...I think your just making a mess that a good trainer might or might not be able to fix...It's pretty easy to teach a horse something if ya know what your doing but it's GD hard to unteach things they've learned along the way.....My horses won't kick at me because it is just something they have never thought to do....Yours has & you just never know when they might do it again without even thinking....
