Exactly, you raised your babies so they know better. However, a new horse is gonna try and see what it can get away with. When putting a horse into a new heard situation squabbles often break out, they kick/bite to establish dominance. Therefore, I see nothing wrong with me smacking one on the ass to let it know I'm the boss. It's certainly not cuddly, it's the way they communicate. They don't use ropes, lol.
Yes I do......Yup I wouldn't be against whacking one in that instance but I'd want a long sorting pole , not some flimsy whip. The fact is this girl is afraid of it to start with so her trying to do anything like that just ain't gonna work...
