I second that ^^. What an awful person to even think such a thing. It's a tragedy all the way around.

The horse was excitable. They should not have been riding it through the crowd, but you know what? The report seemed to say the child was killed when the horse stepped on her head, crushing her skull. Had they been hand-walking the horse, it could have spooked, knocked the kid over and crushed her skull as well. I have no idea if she was wearing a helmet, if there was a saddle, what the deal was.

The only thing I know is that the mother is going to grieve over the loss of her baby forever. So sorry for everyone. I can't imagine.
