The important thing is that its all for the greater good. Ive had a bit like this for years, and although it is not my favorite, its always handy for certain situations. For instance, you can put it on any broke horse, with a kid, and know that the kid is not going to hurt the horses mouth no matter how bad a rider he is.

PDJ, I think you need to smooth your welding job out a bit but other than that I wish you luck selling them.

Is the wind blowing there? We have 80 MPH gusts and its giving me a head ache!
Only 30mph here today & it seems like it has been that or more sense last September. As I said the bit in the pic was welded by Ed's 12 yr old grandson while he watched. I've used it a couple months & it ain't fell apart yet. There is nothing really unique about these bits but the chain I happened to find, it is just perfect. As you said these are very forging bits that most anyone can use & even good for working cowboys as sometimes you get to working cattle & take ahold more than you want to but shit happens. Just like the nose pieces they ain't magic but a perfect bit for western riders after they go out of the ring snaffle & in many cases they just go in them the rest of their lives. I'm old, have all of the money I need & my reputation means more to me than anything & I don't sell horses or equipment that I don't really believe in..
