HNH, if there was more to it, we didn't know. We were just going on the information that was provided and forming (and stating) our opinions based on that information. There's nothing wrong with holding those opinions if the situation is indeed as simple as it was presented. We had nothing to point us in any other direction. You know how this place is, people take information, draw conclusions, share conclusions, then argue when they don't agree. It's an inevitability. Maybe if the first person hadn't said it, someone else would have. Maybe if nobody had said it, someone else still would have thought it. You can't really control that so no reason to heed any of it if that's not your interest.

I'll say it again. I'm glad you found a great home for Idge. I'm happy you got a price you're satisfied with. All that matters is that she's going to a loving home that will meet her needs. The rest is just speculation and idle banter.

How could we draw any other conclusions if that's the information we're given? Nobody knew about the "also" so you can't really fault us for not taking it into consideration. If he's got bigger plans for her, then my opinion changes. But I don't have that info any more than anybody else does, and again, you know this place. Everyone's got an opinion, and they're gonna share it (that's the point of a discussion forum, right?).
