I do not agree with the halter horses being bulky if not up to show weight and being fitted on. They might be a tall broad horse but not bulky. As far as Idg being halter bred, yes she was. As far as being a HIGHLY competitve halter horse, no she is not. She is not tall enough and actually needed more bulk. What she is though is a nice mare that CAN halter, can trail ride, been ridden around cows, stands for bathing, clipping, is not a nutcase, very people orientated, hauls great (I know cause I loaded her and hauled her myself) has no vices such as cribbing, weaving, pawing, and about anyone can handle her. I do not think the guy could have asked for much more myself and if I would have had an extra $7000 I would have bought her myself for a...what...wait a minute...a trail horse that I could also have more finish put on and also be able to SHOW her and have the option to Show her APHA or AQHA since she was double registered. I say $7000 cause I'm betting HNH woulda cut me a deal :LOL

Why would one want to show a horse at halter if it wasn't going to be competitve? Sure any Yahoo can enter their horse in a halter class just for fun...but you said Idg wasn't competitive, so that knocks her out for being a serious winning halter prospect. And there's a lot of pretty horses to be found that can trail ride, been ridden around cows, stands for bathing, clipping, is not a nutcase, very people orientated, hauls great, that are also smooth riding...that haven't had a elbow break where problems in furture movement will likely arise & already causes her movement to be rough...

Guess I'm just more particular with my prospects...lol...
