What are his 'issues', if you don't mind my asking?
I don't mind at all, but I'm hoping KG has a chance to tell me what she thinks of his face first.  I'm pretty sure his problems are all tied to his personality.

I can tell you that he settled in last night like he'd been there all year.  I played with him for a bit in the round pen, then tucked him into Daisy's old stall and run.  He watched all the goings on with interest, and even accepted a cookie from the feed truck  Made no fuss about his slightly psycho neighbor, or when the one on the other side of him started screaming blue murder because I took her buddy away to work for a while.  Actually, it was pretty priceless:  he looked left and right a few times, and then marched into the stall to get away from them.  You could almost see him shrug and mutter "Mares!"
