I don't think it's horrible - you have to remember that his horse is pretty well broke and that he's trying to help them market their boots. Of course he's going to do something a little out of the ordinary. If it did fall down, I doubt there'd be a big wreck, and he does have his horse's legs covered.

People do need to have a little common sense and know when *not* to do certain things (which, I know, is kind of hard for some people...). There are things I've seen done that I think are cool but wouldn't attempt myself.
