Well, thanks guys...  Even my vet said that TB's with her personality and the way she's attached herself to me are few and far between.  And because it was HIS call to u/s, he's also told me that he'll do all her "monitor" ultrasounds on the house, only charging me the call fee.

I've only had her for a few months, but her personality has won a permanent place in my heart...  I got her JC papers with her, and judging from the previous owners she's just gone from one foal factory to another until she got to my place and her new "job" of being a non-aggressive buddy to my accident-prone gelding.  Whom, I might add, has been injury free since she moved in!

Here's a pic of the old girl with her paddock buddies, "My Lucky Day" (the gelding), and "Heart and Soul" (My other TB mare).  She's the one in the middle.  Her name is "What A Lover", but I call her SpellBound.  BTW, this is the view off my kitchen deck...  I feed then get to watch this while I have my coffee in the morning.

I asked him about removal, and his response was that she would not be a good candidate for that intense of a surgery due to age, etc.

And here's another pic of my Pasture Queen, the day she arrived "home".  (Yes, she was pretty skinny then)

** Edited because I can't spell "personality" correctly twice in the same post.
