LOL, well then that's something we can work on. I suppose part of her confusion is how I've been training her for the gait. It's basically walk, walk, walk, walk, and then asking for more speed.

The trot is discouraged, any breaking into the trot is immediately corrected by a slight check in the reins. She is then brought down to the walk and she is asked to walk faster and faster up until the breaking point of walk and trot. This is suppose to develope into a gait, and recently we forged a gait from that (yay, results!). So while on the ground she trots at liberty, and will canter when asked, she may not understand that it's okay under saddle. Does that make sense, or am I reading too far into it? ^^;
