Your allegation isn't fair, PDJ. Not everyone sells to the first person with cash. I used to breed and sell dogs on occasion in the past and sometimes refused to sell them to people because the dog didn't seem to like them or I felt uneasy about the type of home they would provide. As a matter of fact, I quit breeding and selling animals 15 years ago because I found it increasingly difficult trust that they would end up in good forever homes. The lack of trusting people was my problem, but the point is not everyone puts money first. I have two horses right now that I don't ride, but I wouldn't sell either one to the first person to give me a wad of cash. Worry and guilt would plague me to no end, and it is just not worth any amount of money.
