That could be it. The trot isn't too important unless you want to win the hacks. There are more over fences than hack classes so I always say buy for the jump and the canter. He would probably look better with a pro on him, the rider looks like an older amateur.


I also think he's VERY green and she's doing a lot to try to keep him on the rail and paying attention.  I think she's trying to make him look less green than he is.  green doesn't bother me much though.  Of course, it might be nice to just have a made horse I could go show on though, LOL.  I've been working with greens so long, LOL.  I think if I did ever buy another one, I would look for something made.  Of course, I'd have to have serious cash for that, so maybe not
