Sure! I'm actually going to bed now, I showed today and I'm going to cheer on friends tomorrow, but I'll definitely pick out some prospects when I get a minute

Hampton, Terryn and Faye Louise should do this too!

On the canter, I can't really tell if it will soften, I'd have to get on him myself or at least see him in person to judge if he's just distracted/learning/tense and will get better or if that's just how he goes. It's really not bad for local shows, and I have just watched two days of the softest, prettiest cantering horses, so my eye is a bit harsh right now LOL
I'll play! If I can find enough horses to post before I go to the barn, I will, otherwise I'll do it when I get back.

As for the guy you posted, I think he looks like he'd be fine for local stuff and the occasional A. I don't think he'd hack in the best company, but you don't need a hack winner to have a solid hunter. I agree it's hard to tell about his canter, but it's possible it could improve for sure.

A somewhat related anecdote, when we got my mare she had very little under saddle training (hence how I could afford her as a grad student, lol), and she could not balance herself with a rider at the canter. She'd switch leads all over the place, it was impossible to keep her in front of your leg and she felt like a cement mixer. Back then I would not have called her canter particularly good, but a year later she has a nice canter (even more so with my trainer up!).
