She has a very soft sweet, protective look in her eye. I think shes happy.
I love comments like this, because it's been difficult with her, and I'd been told SO much how psycho and mean she was. She was just unhappy, and it only took a few minor changes for a lovely, though injury-prone, horse.

And NMFD, I didn't know that! I didn't start riding until highschool, so I never had that. I just used what was around in this case, haha.

I've seen what you're talking about! The place I rode that did therapeutic riding wanted them. And I wish I'd pushed the guy a little more, but I was like 16 and really shy. He sent them to auction because they were "getting old" I think the grey was her sire, he looked like her.

When I met her first owner, he was a) surprised they'd let a 15 y/o ride (not that this was a sign of my "OMG AWESOME riding powers", but more because I held on good. And the barn I started at had no care for my safety) and b) told me why exactly he named a mare PJ...I was hoping for a cute story, but instead, it was "My name is Jerry, so I named her Perfectly Jerry."

Uhh....ok? Her pasture buddy was a chestnut, like copper penny chestnut; his name was Buck, because he was a buckskin. Uh-huh.
