We also have dumpster rental. Up at the "top" barn (as in, up the hill - descriptive, huh?) there is a 5000 dumpster end on against a wall that was cut into the hill behind the barn - you can dump into it from above and then as the pile grows, walk out onto it with the carts. Down at the "lower" barn we had a pit created for the dumpster - it has a drain and pump at the bottom and is poured concrete set into the ground with a paved slope leading in/out. A 2500 dumpster fits in there perfectly - this one you fill from the sides. The company that we rent from is a top soil/compost place - and that is what they use it for.

Smaller paddocks get picked as needed. Pastures get dragged a few times a year.
