^^ Not my horse, I am sadly (or gladly, as law school does not leave me any time to spare for one) horseless at the moment. That is April, the lesson horse he rides. She probably was concentrating on him - trying to figure out what the heck he was trying to tell her to do.

He's gotten a lot better since his first lesson... he can walk, jog and lope... do basic lateral movements (sidepass, turn on haunches and fore) with some consistency... and he does enjoy it. He figured since I plan on having a farm with horses, he better learn to ride so he can enjoy them too!

Though, according to him horses pretty much come in brown, blonde, black and gray... and more or less look the same, regardless of colour. Heh.
