He has been handled a little, he was imprinted at birth and at one point caught when he was a weanling, brought to the other farm, and in the winter they lived in a run-in and werent touched otherwise, so save for his first week and when they moved him, he has been wild and free.
He amazed me with how sensitive he is to pressure like I said, he hates having pressure on him and will move from away from it. But yes, level-headed, and I have watched him in the pasture, not one buck or rear! Just kicks - I "tickled" (touched) him on his flanks and he started trying to kick out so I moved my hand upwards again and he relaxed. Yes, I am gripping at straws trying to find evidence his mind is differently from what his face reads to you KG

Right now I am trying to get over my disappointment in Ingrid and Reiner Klimkes book.. it had ONE PAGE on foals It sounded as if it would have more information, not just on riding, but on handling and teaching. Its not a cheap book, and if I'd know I'd have waited until he was older
