3 feedings a day is optimal for all horses for the above reasons , for seniors if you CAN do 4 a day that would be even better.

Maybe Triple Crown is too local, but I have one on their senior feed, which is primarily beet pulp, and it's been great.

Its pretty local for my area. Still expensive though.
