Sorry, but there are many different types of swelling, causes of swelling, and therefore different types of treating it. It could be from the trimming, it could be stocking up because of the weather, it could be ANYTHING. Why on earth would you ask for help on the internet, not knowing how the injury actually happened, and the "vets" who are responding haven't seen the swelling?


A) Have a vet out.
B) If you are going to take advice from an online forum who have no idea what you are talking about, posting a picture helps.


And when the weather gets funky like it is, humid and hot, my mare is known to stock up. She does it in one leg or the other. Rarely does she stock up in both hinds.

Sorry for the extra attitude today. I am having a shit day, and this is the third forum I have checked today asking for advice on something that nobody could diagnose through the internet without seeing it.
