I told them point blank that this pony was not for their daughter. Their daughter is a very beginner rider that is still in the bareback on a lunge line phase. She has some issues that affect her balance and coordination. I suggested that they sell the pony now that it is a rideable pony and buy a good old baby sitter for their daughter. They said that they would think about it. I can only offer my honest opinion and suggestions and hope for the best. I did show them how to handle the pony and to not let her be the boss. They need to make changes too or the pony will be back to square one in a month.
