There was a horrible accident not too far from where I board last year... There was a van with a dad, his son, and his son's friend coming back from an OHL game on a country road. They were T-boned by a drunk driver who went through a stop sign. The dad managed to get out, but the van caught fire and he had to stand by as his son and his son's friend who were trapped inside burned to death. The BO's husband is a police officer and was the first on the scene that night. The man who hit them was so drunk he just laughed about what happened, had no idea what was going on.

I once drove home early in the morning after staying at a friend's place overnight so that I could get to work... I was still somewhat drunk. I'm pretty sure I drove like 10 below the speed limit the whole way home because I was so terrified of hurting someone else. Drinking and driving is the most selfish act a person can do. They say "oh, I'll be fine" but they're not even thinking about those around them... The people they're driving, the other drivers on the road, the cyclist, the pedestrians...
