I'll never understand why people don't just call a cab, have a DD, or stay the night.
Exactly.

One thing I've LOVED about all the kid's I'd met in college was that they were so different from the people from my hometown. At my home town, you drank yourself silly and then drove home. I was never okay with that, and hated seeing other do it. At the college I went to, it was so different. People called cabs all the time, or FORCED people to stay the night at the party house, etc. It was very interesting to see so many college kids being "responsible" in that they either called a cab, got a DD, or stayed where they were. My brother and I held a Halloween Party, and had a large section of our apartment set up for anybody who either had more than 2 drinks, was under 21, or just wanted to stay. I woke up the next morning to about 8 people in my house lol. It isn't that hard, and it's not a big deal sheesh. I usually sleep wherever I go, because I don't always trust that a DD will stay a DD, and I don't like taking cabs if I don't have to. I'll even sleep in my truck, don't matter. No driving after a 2 drinks.

An eye for an eye way of life may make the world go blind.

Maybe then we would learn to start listening.
