Ok thank you Trixina...makes me feel much better!! We do not do too much galloping anyway, we mostly walk and trot with minimal lope/canter on trails! Nice relaxing rides!
I thought of another question! He trips a good bit, ecspecially when he is feeling lazy or bored in the arena and not picking up his feet. He even went all the way down on his knee this spring causing me to go over his right shoulder when we were loping in the pasture...I am guessing that this could this be from his confo or is it more laziness do you think? As long as he is moving out and not being lazy though he does great and he has only tripped in the arena/pasture here at home. But pretty scary when he went all the way down...He has almost went down at least 2 other times although I didn't come off of him. I think the one time(when I came off) was from his toes being a little long because the farrier was late coming out, which I learned real quick to watch for that and get on my farrier when he is late!
Thanks again...like I said makes me feel better! I love my boy and defintely don't want to hurt him! Appreciate your help and time!
