He has a gorgeous shoulder. The ratio of the scapula to humerus is fantastic. The angle is very open. The slope is somewhat upright, but that's not a bad thing. The link to the article on shoulders earlier stated this was a bad thing for jumping. Quite the opposite. In order to get the knees up to his ears, the shoulder has to have room to rotate down and back - if the shoulder is already laid back, there is less room for it to rotate down and back and therefore the knees can't come up as high.

The right front leg is offset at the cannon, and the left front leg is deviated. Offset is where it doesn't exit the knee from a central point, and deviation is where it does exit the knee correctly but isn't vertical, it slants away from the knee.
