Oh, that apple sauce is a good trick!
Not sure if a 14 year old who is good at finding ways to not do what he doesn't want to will work, but maybe I'll try it.
If I ever work with a young horse, I will do that for sure!
Wracking my brain here trying to figure out how to worm him without needing 4 people and risking injury. I was thinking, maybe if I get him used to having his face touched, and then perhaps introduce a gentle blindfold if he's amenable to it, so he can't see what's coming.
And maybe if I held a sprig of crushed peppermint near his nose, he would smell that instead of the wormer coming at him. Heh. Not sure.
He really did try to kick the hell out of one of the people helping the other day, and that worries me.
