No, Northern. Her dam is getting up there in years and possibly our favorite/best producing broodmare. We bred her for a "normal" time of the year foal and she did not take. I was away at a paint show with my mare and dad called and said she'd come back in - because she is getting so much older, and we didn't have a filly to keep out of her, he decided to breed her. Not sorry, either! I really like her, personally.

As a weanling and yearling showing are really the only times it would ever have a negative effect on her, honestly. Doesn't make any difference once they're old enough to ride... I don't know why people give other people grief for breeding their mares at the "wrong" time of the year. :P

By the way, this is the filly that I had a thread about the buyer coming out and insisting that she was down on her fetlock. Does she look down on her fetlock to any of you?

Thanks again for all the critiques!
