No- if any one was to get him, I'd rather it be you! I know you are certainly capable of looking after one & it would get the best of care. I hate ads like that, because someone is going to go buy him for their kids to torment- those jackasses who think it's fine to ride a mini, & he's too far away for me to try & help. Makes me sad. But certainly kudos that he is a gelding.

He'd certainly have to go on a dry lot, but like I said, I don't think his belly is a weight issue. What causes the most problems in the dwarves is the fact their organs still grow while their bodies do not. If you look at some of the more severe ones, that is why their spines bow upward & their bellies are so huge. Then the arthritis sets in on the short legs & back. Ours kept thrush because his hooves were so tiny & conpact that they held moisture like a sponge. He lived in duct tape boots with copertox soaked cotton packed in it.

How big a pony? I know of a few that might be available right now & few minis for free.
