Thanks for the responses!

I suppose the Native Dancer in her comes through (excepting the feet). She definitely has a good mind, really healthy, well-conformed feet, and has solid, clean legs. When we first had the farrier come through, he was surprised she'd been raced at all (I don't have her records yet, but I know she made it to the track). He commented on how he generally sees unevenness in the pastern, splinting, and/or calcification on track horses, but she has none of that.

Her history as I know it is she was bred in (I think) PA, raced for I don't know how long, got bounced around to different homes, made her way through auction at least once before ending up at a barn in NJ where we found her. She came to us very green, healthy enough (glossy coat, decent enough farrier work, UTD on vaccs, teeth, etc.) but underweight.

What we're most likely gearing her towards is eventing. She's a beautiful mover, really sane, sound, loves being worked out in the field. When she comes up against new things, new fences, her inclination is always to proceed. Fantastic to work with, really. But we'll be starting her in the hunter ring. She's more then nice enough to, and (especially as a sale horse,) we can't go wrong with mileage there.

Does her pedigree incline her more towards being a long-distance or sprinter? Turf or dirt? Any physical/mental issues anyones heard of in her lines?

Najideen, I don't think you were a weird kid at all! Horse obsessed kids are supposed to be like that, lol.
