I've got a trainer that works with me two days a week (More on my flaws than my horse) and she rides my horse twice a week. It's tapering down-he's just so green; and I don't have much experience with green horses.

Monday: Trainer rides him
Tuesday: I have cross country schooling
Wedensday: Trainer rides him in the AM; he and I go play in the river on trail
Thursday: Dressage/flat lesson (With a course at the end).
Friday: Day off. I put him out with his buddies for hours and just let 'em play. Sometimes I'll hop on bareback and go down to the river & play there
Saturday: I tend to dedicate it to poles. Because god, I hate them. But god, they do amazing things for me.
Sunday: Generally work no-stirrups for forty-five minutes or so. Depending on the weather, I'll call it a day with that, or we'll go out and see if I can't expose him to fun things. (Roads, trucks, construction equipment, cranes, chainsaw noises, ect.)

But that's just the 'general'. I deviate from it frequently. If it's too hot, I'll let him have a day off and I'll just ride him bareback around the barn & forest preserve. So I guess four days a work he's definitely schooled, the other three are working but not intensive work.
