minutae of conformation esp off a photo.
Colorado is a lovely stallion and an absolute blast to ride. I knew him in Denmark before he came to the USA. He is 11 yrs old and has been competed and ridden all his life and is sound and sane. So no need to worry about him "going lame before he is 10".
I would not hesitate to breed any good quality mare to him. In fact I tried to breed to him twice when he first came over, but due to various circumstances (nothing to do with the stallion) I did not manage it.

I probably won't get to this year either since all my mares will be going to Halifax Middelsom.

while I don't have any Colorado offspring, I do have a filly by his full brother Ecuador, she is due to be started under saddle this spring.   All of the Skrødstrup horses bred by Nils are charming and delightful and fun to ride.

If you really want to see Knabstruppers and are in Virginia come on by the farm and I'll happily show you plenty. We have 18 of them.  If you arte up for it, I'll even let you ride one, you will fall in love!

They are delightful horses, easy to train, tough and sound, sane, willing and with a great work ethic.
