Doesn't everyone think they're the exceptions? The reality is, an older, experienced person will assuredly know more than a younger, inexperienced person, given equal background, experience and opportunity. However, not everyone has the same background, experience and opportunity. In most cases, on these forums, it's not hard to determine the level of knowledge and experience a person has, regardless of their age. When there is an overwhelming number of younger people having problems or asking questions about the very basics of horses and horsemanship, one can conclude there is a lack of knowledge and experience there. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but those same young people simply do not have the knowledge yet to judge and criticize others and their horses who have decades of experience on them.
