pdj and I almost never agree, but today I have to say I really, really do. These sessions are too long to be effective. I have seen my trainer start horses and he gives them a long time to come around at first with short sessions. Eventually, he picks up more and more time, but at first 30 minutes is MORE than enough on the back of the horse.

But yeah, that is just a shame that a "trainer" would act like that. This only confuses the horse more and will make it a helluva lot harder to continue its training when someone else takes the reins.
