Exactly. I've seen "NH" trained horses that will bolt backwards whenever you wiggle a leadrope. That is incredibly hard to unteach, just from personal experience.

Arrgh yeah, that's how someone at this barn got Solomon to move out for the lunge. Nice shortcut that'll probably get someone trampled eventually. I decided after that day that I wasn't gonna do that. Fear breeds more fear. Plus I think it pissed Sol off, and he knows a LOT of tricks when he is feeling obstinate.
