Wow, I've known of Julie Goodnight for a while. I must say hearing her comments about "white on the face" surprised me. From what I've read from her she hasn't made those type of statements. I've not seen her in person though. Sadly, I think a lot of it is about making the buck. That's why I still love and rave about Mark Rashid (www.markrashid.com). He's a local guy who isn't about gimmicks. His books always make me laugh and look at things in a new light. He doesn't have a "fix" for everything. He also doesn't have his own brand of stuff! He does endorse a weird bit that he says works wonders. He didn't make it or anything though. I hope someday to get to a local clinic of his.

I love Mark Rashid!!! I've read quite a few of his books and he has some really great ideas. He also isn't one to believe that his way of dealing with problems is the only way. I remember in one of his books he said that these methods worked well for him, but it may not work for other people and horses. He seems very flexible with his methods. He is a horseman, not a salesman.
