History people: is that why they lowered the drinking age to 18 for a while during Vietnam? The draft? Or am I making that up?

As I recall it was that they lowered the voting age and the drinking age came along for the ride (age of majority).  And it went back up when the Federal government tied highway funding to a states drinking age law (which why there is a tow tiered age of majority now, one for voting, one for drinking).
