lovely pics, they worked out well! I have othing against purpose crosses, as long as both parents are quality animals. A friend of mine who has two Andy stallions leased a Connemara mare- a proven breeder- and produced the most amazing foal. The stallion has a lovely shaped head so he crosses well with most breeds. Her other stallion has the more typical head, so he is better suited to purebreds or tb crosses.
Someone asked me the other day why you would cross an Andy as it would never be good for anything. I'm amazed as i think properly ridden they can work beautiffuly, and crossed well make excellent dressage horses
slightly OT but why the anti friesian cross thing? on FHOTD there are oftenreferences to that cross being a bad thing?
