Interstitial Cystitis. I have it, it sucks. I first had symptoms at 17 after frequent UTI's I was not diagnosed and properly treated for it until I was 22. I kept going to planned parenthood with severe discomfort thinking I had a UTI and I did not. I'm now on a modified diet and take a low dose of Toviaz once a day. Ask your doctor about it.

At the height I had constant pain on my lower abdomen, was urinating up to 25x a day, and felt awful. I still urinate more then your average person but it is manageable now.

And *if* it is IC also be prepared that vulvodynia can come hand in hand with it. I have a type called Vulvar Vestibulitis and it's been very difficult to try and manage.

Good luck finding out what is wrong, I know it can be a very difficult path and it must be hard knowing your kid isn't feeling well and no one can figure out why.

Riding a horse is not a gentle hobby, to be picked up and laid down like a game of solitaire. It is a grand passion. It seizes a person whole and once it has done so, he will have to accept that his life will be radically changed. Ralph Waldo Emerson
