He seems to like Rosie well enough, and Bree isn't too much taller than he is.

I've tried to figure out just what other reason there could be for his behavior and I can't think of anything. He is easy to catch unless I've been bringing him in to feed. And he's still easy to catch at times that aren't standard feeding times. It's just at feeding time that he gets worse and worse.

He doesn't bang on the gate or anything if Rosie is in and it's not feeding time.

He stands well when tied (except for trying to knock things over if he can reach them), but always quietly, unless I've fed him and he's finished and Rosie is still eating, then he paws and fidgets and moves all around and acts like a dork. As soon as I turn him out and let him go, he immediately trots over to make sure that she hasn't left any crumbs anywhere - even if she's off grazing.

Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.

People with true credibility and integrity don't need to tell other people how great they are. They also don't need to belittle other people to feel superior.
