Yay! I'm good for something for once
Dear English Major,

I am waaaay off topic here, (interrupting the beyotch fest.) TWO, I am not too often stumped with grammar and punctuation. I was typing a question in an e-mail the other day regarding granting a wish for someone. I typed, "How can I say, 'No?'" It appeared as, How can I say, "No?" It did not look correct to type, How can I say, "No."?

I was taught that punctuation stays inside the quotes. The word, "no" was a sentence and not a question. From what I was taught, I should omit the period after "no" and put the question mark inside the quotes. Eye hait maiking mistraiks.

Every horse deserves to be so highly valued! Congrats to Ruby. She's won the owner lottery:

The journey we have taken with Ruby is a long one but basically she is stage one navicular. Tiff and I both feel that it would not be right to expect her to run barrels even with the best farrier/vet care. She will breakdown somewhere else and we will end up killing her. Her life is worth more than the few dollars she may win.
