Over at the knees in any horse that raced for a living is pretty much not a conformational fault. Just sayin'. Blemish, not a fault. Even as extreme as St. Simon's. I'd guess before he raced his front legs looked OK. And just looking at that picture of St. Simon, I'd say they were thinking "Holy cow! What a great shoulder and hip!" Sucker totally looks like he was born to run.
