There are no lines in those illustrations describing croup slope/angle. They are all describing pelvic angle. Not the same things. Often they (pelvic angle and croup slope) are very similar but they are not the same.

The middle diagram in the group of 3 shows a goose rumped horse (excessive pelvic angle and croup slope) with a short croup and corresponding high set tail. Didn't even need to go find you a pic as you provided one - thanks!
