Good timing, this topic. I read Sally Swift's books years ago but couldn't get into them; just last week I was given new copies of them and wow, they're fantastic. Pretty much everything I've been trying to figure out is explained in them. I'd love to find a Centered Riding Instructor around here but for the moment I'm working with my boss as she has also used the books to develop her reading.

My main difficulty is that my body gets tense and my legs are almost useless. After reading her books I became a lot more even in the saddle and I remembered how to breathe properly. Really great.
