Hopefully drama-free topic:

I have had two lessons from a certified CR instructor, and plan on doing it once a month (She only comes down here once a month), and it has made a world of difference to me, both mentally and physically. My horse is much more willing to round up underneath me, and we dont brace against each other that much anymore, I am more qiuet, and follow him a lot better. I am more aware of my body, and do things I never thought I would - like hauling ass over a plowed field.

Does anybody work with a centred riding instructor, or integrate it into their riding style? Let's have a discussion, I am very interested in hearing opinions on this

Err.... my instructor was nutball Morab gelding that had very precise requirements as to whom he could tolerate (otherwise it became "centered dirt-eating")... and it's the only way I've really "known" how to ride.

Course, I didn't know that there was a "term" for it... or even an entire market built around it.

..... I was just trying to ride like an elf would. Ohwell ...and to not have Boo leave my ass out in the middle of the woods for the bears to eat.Frown
