Guilty. In my defense it was to catch a lose horse in the dark when the power went out. Nice old coot who was quite happy in the hay barn stuffing himself silly and my hay string "rope halter" didn't do a darn bit of good. Grabbed an old halter out of the (pitch black) tack room, went into the (just light enough to see fat old horse) hay barn and proceeded to halter the nag. After a slight struggle (with nag laughing in my ear) I tied the throatlatch in a knot and drug him back to his stall, where the lights magically came back on to show old fat horse still laughing and the halter inside out AND upside down. Double points for me.

Never have I:
ridden English.

It looks like a lot of fun and I would love to learn how to jump. Maybe once I re-learn Western (coming back from a 10 year hiatus) I'll give it a shot.
