My horse was "accused" of being proud cut. I talked to a number of people about it and got a variety of answers. Hard one to get a straight answer on. I guess it helps when they geld them standing up because everything drops down and it makes it easier to get it all. I have seen a gelding and it seems like it would be pretty easy to not leave anything behind.

My "proud cut" gelding was gelded standing up at age 2. Never bred before gelding. However, he is very studdy and very aggressive with other horses. I actually wish it was as simple as having him gelded. It would make my life a little easier.......

I believe that my horse has been fully gelded but that he has social issues.
