Horrible stuff. I deal with it on the dogs I groom all the time. Friends of mine have had to take several of their dogs to the vet this year to get it removed from their ears and even a piece in a dog's eye. I also had a client dog come in not too long ago with cheat just packed and infested INSIDE of his feet so bad he could barely walk. I keep my dogs mostly indoors and we live in the city so it's not much of a problem for us. There isn't any on the property where I keep my horses. I'm not sure what can be done about getting rid of the stuff... Have you done a google search?
